Julie leads a high‑performing, internationally based team focused on driving export growth, expanding Scotland’s global market reach, and enhancing Scotland’s international reputation as a hub for innovation‑led trade and investment.
She works collaboratively across government, industry, and international partners to strengthen the competitiveness of Scotland’s business environment.With more than 25 years’ experience in senior leadership roles, Julie has held a wide range of positions spanning national and international economic development, giving her deep expertise across trade, investment, innovation, and global market development.
