SNABC Inaugural Burns Supper

A big thank you went to everyone who made our inaugural Burns Supper such a fantastic night celebrating our national bard, Robert Burns, and the strong transatlantic ties, all in aid of the Beatson Cancer Charity, in the splendid historic Churchill Room in the House of Commons.

We greatly appreciated our sponsors, Caxton, and the generous support from Dr Marie Mary Stewart Macklin CBE and Delta Air Lines, who kindly donated a pair of premium economy tickets for our raffle in aid of the Beatson Cancer Charity. We were thrilled to have raised £1,500 to support its vital work, and congratulations went to Katie King from Turner & Townsend, our lucky winner.

Thanks went to all our guests for joining us and to those who gave toasts, including Olivia McLaren and Allan Hogarth. Our host MP, Graeme Downie, and Torcuil Crichton MP delivered the Toast to the Lassies, and we were very grateful to Kathryn Porter, USA Consul General, for her witty reply from the lassies.
